Privacy notice

This notice explains how Valiss AI handles personal data. We try to keep it short and clear. Questions: hello@valiss.co.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Valiss AI is operated by Trustbox ApS, a Danish private limited company (CVR no. 37588822) with registered address at Maglebjergvej 6, 2800 Lyngby, Denmark. Trustbox ApS acts as the data controller for personal data collected through this website and during Valiss AI engagements. References to "Valiss AI", "we", or "us" in this notice mean Trustbox ApS trading as Valiss AI.

2. What data we collect

When you submit a form on this site — the audit request form or the contact form — we collect the information you give us: typically your name, email address, phone number, company name, website, category, and any notes you provide. This is the data we use to reply to you, run your audit, and follow up with the walkthrough call.

When you browse this site — we use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate. Ahrefs is a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool. We do not run any other tracking.

When you become a Signal audit client, we collect the URL and category you submit, and we generate audit data by running queries against public AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity), reading publicly available information about your brand (your website, your Google reviews, your competitors' websites), and pulling third-party citations. We do not access private systems unless you explicitly grant us separate access.

3. Why we process it (legal basis)

We process the data you submit on the basis of your consent (when you submit a form) and the performance of a contract (when we deliver audits and engagements you have ordered). We process aggregated analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how this site is used.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party processors that handle data on our behalf, under written processing agreements where required by GDPR:

• Formspree (United States) — receives and forwards form submissions. Formspree privacy policy.
• Ahrefs (Singapore / global) — provides anonymised web analytics. Ahrefs privacy policy.
• Vercel (European Union) — hosts this website (EU region) and provides privacy-friendly, cookieless visitor analytics. Vercel privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

5. International transfers

Some processors are based outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable.

6. How long we keep it

Form submissions: kept for as long as we are actively in contact with you, and for up to 24 months after our last interaction, after which we delete them.

Client audit data: retained for the duration of the engagement and for up to 24 months afterwards for reference in follow-up work and re-audits.

Analytics: aggregated and anonymised; retained indefinitely.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Have it corrected if it is inaccurate
• Have it deleted
• Restrict or object to its processing
• Receive a copy of it in a portable format
• Withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting prior processing)

To exercise any of these, write to hello@valiss.co. We respond within 30 days.

8. Right to complain

If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.dk.

9. Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Ahrefs Web Analytics is cookieless. Your browser may set strictly technical cookies as part of serving the site (for example, by our hosting provider), but these are not used for profiling.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our practices change. We will publish the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
